Selection for Exhibition and Special Mention by the Jury
Here is my illustrated project proposed and created for the Lucca Junior Competition 2023, Livio Sossi Editorial Illustration Award, selected for the exhibition that will be exhibited at Lucca comics and games.
Based on the sweet story "Celeste and the Blue Twin" written by Angelo Mozzillo.
Which talks about the beauty of being alone and having fun, and how precious it is to discover friendship and sharing.
This year is the second time I've attempted it, and compared to last year I arrived at the last second (and with a knocked out hand) and I wasn't at all convinced that I would succeed. But I'm glad I gritted my teeth, because in the end, in addition to being selected for the exhibition, the jury also awarded me a special mention.
